1. Nature of the Service
ApeType is an educational typing fluency platform. It is not an IDE, remote code execution sandbox, or compiler service. Source code displayed on the platform is intended purely for typing practice and transcription drills.
2. Content Ownership and Licensing
Curated code snippets are provided under standard open-source licenses (such as MIT or Apache 2.0). When you author and submit a snippet for public publication, you certify that you have the right to publish that code and grant ApeType permission to display it for typing practice.
3. Competitive Integrity & Leaderboards
To maintain fairness on public leaderboards, automated script injection, synthetic keystroke generators, and botting are strictly prohibited. Sessions failing heuristics validation are automatically flagged.
